Layar and AR Tags

Hi All,
Does Layar support AR Tags something in the Lines of ARToolKit. My requirement is to be able to paste diagrams/patterns to objects and using a camera display images over them. What I see so far is Layar supports Augmented reality via GPS and not via AR tags?
If yes could somebody point me to links which details on how I can configure the same for my Iphone app?

This feature should be supported by layar Vision. For more information on Layar Vision, please check here. The wiki documentation is also available. A beta client which supports Layar vision can be downloaded here. Please note that it is only available on Android devices.

Would love support for AR tags as we are looking at using this in a festival environment.
