Hi to everybody,

any news about the possibility to hide part or totally the GUI? The full interface is fine for commercial or public thing, but really ugly for immersive art project, as virtual gallery or installations. I know the brand needs, but at the same time a lot of innovation come from the artist (for free...) ... a small logo will suffit.

Has anything been done about this yet? I desperately need it for my next app. Either allow the player to take and share screenshots as per layers accessedvia the layar app OR give developers the option to hide the radar etc. Please!

I see that Wikitude does fullscreen automatically when phone held in landscape. Looking forward to see this or something similar soon.

I second this request, in Layar Player as well, with the option to hide the bar via code, also setvthe view (list, camera map) programmatically.

It would be interesting to have some more customization of interface: 
switching each element(radar,biw,banner…text -only text), redefinition position  of elements/text, custom picture as 

biw/banner/radar bg (anim.gif with transparent mask?).

It could be applied to the entire layer, and to each category or even to each poi.

All this could give a more interesting design of screen, like a webpages. 

On client could be a mode like-"short info"(only title), "hide all"..

I agree. It would be nice to be able to clear the available space as much as possible.

Also, Paul's comment "It would also be nice to be able to add another logo for dual branding" is absolutely on the money. An option for a transparent layer over the map/near view with a watermark/logo would be very persuasive to clients. 

I second this request but would like to add something in Layar's favour.

Remove the GUI (radar/msgs/etc) but have a small Layar logo in the corner - position to be set by developer.

It would also be nice to be able to add another logo for dual branding.
