The pricing model of Layar Vision comes down to this: every reference image you publish within the publishing environment costs 15 EUR. This is a one time fee only. No monthly bills. Check out is at the moment of publication. If you use Layar Vision a lot, you will have the option to buy bundles of 100 pages for 999 EUR, bringing the price down to 10 EUR per page.

With this new pricing it will be easier for you to estimate the costs for Layar Vision on a project level. This pricing will begin on August 1st of this year. Until that date, using Layar Vision and the Layar Creator is free of charge.

• Do I need to pay when I create vision enabled layers ?

No, creating layers does not have an associated price. This means you can create testing layers anytime you want to. 

You will be charged only when you publish the Vision layer for the number of reference images within that layer. You will also be charged if you elect to add new reference images to a published Vision layer. 

• Do I need to pay when I publish geo-location based layers ? 

No, publishing geo-location based layers will remain free of charge.

• What happens to my existing vision layers that are published before 1st August 2012 ? 

All reference images that are published before August 1, 2012 will remain free of charge, even after August 1, 2012.
