Dear All, 

We are excited to announce Layar Connect 2.0 with support for Layar Vision publication and maintenance. We have also integrated OAuth support so that you can work on Player layers using your Layar Management Tools. Another two handy features are the error logs and the comments when requesting for layer approval. You can find all the updated wiki documentation here. 

With Layar Connect 2.0, we are introducing a monthly fee for usage of the Connect API. If you already have a Sandbox Key, it is still valid and you can continue to explore and develop within this environment. However, to gain access to the Production environment of Connect, you will need to contact us at developerapi@layar.com so that we can work with you to arrange the necessary commercial agreement and paperwork.
