Hello,
We posted a new beta build (Android only) with an updated UI, bug fixes, and a few special features: http://www.layar.com/download/visionbeta/ . If you will spot any issues with this new build we would be grateful if you would report them to this topic.

I have re-tested the transparant PNG issue on Samsung Galaxy S2 with the latest official layar client, the problem with dark borders is still there.

I was unable to copy the log.
It happened after continous testing of a single layer.
Test scenario
Update script (single php) or update graphics. Test layer. Press back to list of Favourites. Repeat.
I'm going to try and capture the log during the next phase of testing, hopefully that will shed some light.

Can you please use native video format for Galaxy Tab? If you will spot any problems with videos which can be played in native browser and can't be played in Layar internal browser, please let me know.

Major bug still exists in new client. The camera isn't initialising and the only way to get rid of it is to turn the phone off/on.
Imagine this happening in front of a potential client, not cool.
This bug was originally reported in the first 6.0 beta.

Can you please re-test these issues with latest official Layar Vision 6.0 client, availiable in the Android Market now? Also please notice that Tablet PC's are not supported by Layar at the moment. We are working on this, but it will take some time.

I tried to trigger a video out of vision.
Works on Samsung I9000 (Galaxy S) with beta1, doesn't work on Samsung P1000 (Galaxy Tab) with beta2. I would try to update the I9000 to find out if Galaxy Tab or beta2 is the problem, but I need a running one for a presentation tomorrow.
Error message in German: "Video kann nicht wiedergegeben werden. Ungültige Streamingdaten".
seems there's a problem rendering transparant PNG's on Samsung Galaxy S2.

I also tried making the image 256x256px to prevent rescaling step for opengl textures, no difference.
