Is it possible to use Layar off line? Any plans?

I am designing an African touristic guide for a big Spanish client and he is asking me for offline funcionality, as long as internet availability is very limited in Africa. Any clue?

Hello Valery,

yes, but a network problem looks like a "Layar Bug" for the end user.

I think, this could make Layar more stable if we could download a layer (or part of it). Even if this would force a list view.

Its not good - at Europe may people think about internet everywhere - but europe its small peace of world , at many places in the world we have only satellite very slow GPRS internet =(
